The teaser of South Superstar Rajinikanth’s next film ‘Lal Salaam’ was released on Diwali. Rajinikanth will be seen giving a very special message through this sports-drama film.
The story of the film is woven around two friends, who once used to play cricket together. Suddenly one day a wall of religion comes between them.

This two-minute teaser starts with a cricket ground where a match is going on. The commentator announces that this is not just a game, it is a war. Riots break out in the middle of the match and cricketers are seen fighting among themselves.
Rajni will be seen connecting people
In the film, Rajinikanth will be seen resolving this fight of religion. In this, he is playing the character of Moideen Bhai who is busy trying to unite the society.
In the teaser, Rajinikanth makes a grand entry in a car and beats up the goons. He also has a dialogue in the teaser in which he says, ‘You have mixed religion with sports. You have filled people’s minds with poison.’
Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya is the director of the film.
Rajinikanth has an extended cameo in the film. It was directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Seeing the teaser of the film, it can be guessed that it is inspired by Sushant Singh Rajput starrer ‘Kai Po Che’. The story of that film was also woven around cricket and communal riots.
Kapil Dev will also have a cameo
‘Lal Salaam’ will release on Pongal 2024. It will be released on the Pan India level in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
Apart from Rajinikanth, actors like Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant will be seen in lead roles in the film. There is also a cameo of former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev in it.
