Leo Collection: ‘Leo’ Is Struggling To Earn Rs 300 Crore, Thalapathy Vijay’s Film Could Collect This Much Amount On The 9th Day
South films seem to be dominating the box office for quite some time now. Recently Leo’s movie was released. This is Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan’s film which created a stir on the opening day itself. Now 9 days have passed since the film was released. It seems to be competing with other released films at the box office.
Thalapathy Vijay’s film ‘Leo’ from South has been making good collections at the box office from the first day. Making record-breaking earnings till the first week, the movie garnered more than Rs 200 crores at the ticket window. At the beginning of the second week, the situation was different. 9 days have passed since ‘Leo’ was released. Let us know how much the film collected on Friday.
The film earned so many crores on the 9th day
‘Leo’ was released in theaters on October 19. The film took an opening of Rs 64.8 crore at the domestic box office. After this the film was pressed and the notes were printed. The first-week collection of Leo was Rs 264.25 crore. Now the film has entered its second week and its earnings are gradually decreasing.
According to the report of Sacknilk, ‘Leo’ earned Rs 7 crore on the 9th day of its release i.e. second Friday. With this, the total earning of the film has become Rs 271.25 crore. There has been a decline in the film’s earnings since Dussehra.
Day wise collection of ‘Leo’
- First day- 64.8 crores
- Second day- 35.25 crores
- Third day- 39.8 crores
- Fourth day- 41.55 crores
- Fifth day – 35.7 crores
- Sixth day – 32.6 crores
- Seventh-day – 13.4 crores
- Eighth day- 10.48 crores
Strong competition from other films
Looking at the pace at which the film ‘Leo’ was progressing in the initial days, it seemed that it could give tough competition to ‘Jawaan’ within a few days. But from the beginning of the second week, the film is progressing slowly. One reason for this is the competition from films like Ganpat, Tiger Nageshwar Rao, Bhagwant Kesari, and Tejas.
However, the film has crossed the Rs 270 crore mark and is just away from touching the Rs 300 crore mark. Looking at the way the film is earning now, it seems difficult for it to earn more than Rs 300 crore by this weekend. At present, all eyes are on the box office collection of ‘Leo’.
