The second film to be released this weekend was ’12th Fail’. Inspired by the real incident, this film has been directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. This is the story of two people cracking UPSC. ’12th Fail’ earned Rs 1.10 crore on the first day. This film is considered to have better earnings than expected. Because there is no star attraction in this film. Vikrant Massey is a strong actor. But their box office is still not up yet. Despite this, the film had a decent opening. This film is going to do well on the second day. ’12th Fail’ can collect Rs 1.75 crore on Saturday.
The third film is ‘Sajini Shinde’s Viral Video’. This was an action thriller produced by Maddock Films. Actors like Nimrat Khair, Radhika Madan, and Bhagyashree have worked in this film. Critics are praising the film. But that thing is not being reflected in the film’s earnings. ‘Sajini Shinde…’ collected only Rs 15 lakh from across the country on the first day. Which is a very bad opening. There was the same problem with this film there was no actor working in it who could bring the audience to the theatres. This film can earn Rs 25 lakh on the second day i.e. Saturday.

Last Friday, amidst competition from three new films, ‘Ganpat’ earned Rs 25 lakh. Due to this, the total earnings of the film in eight days was Rs 12.05 crore.
