According to the latest reports, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has locked the script of ‘Housefull 5’, and is planning to bring together the five heroes for the film. The star cast is likely to include Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, and Riteish Deshmukh, who have been part of the previous films.
Big update on ‘Housefull 5’
‘Housefull 5’ will be the biggest film of this franchise, as it will feature all the characters from the previous films in a crossover. A media report quoted a source close to the film as saying, ‘Sajid Nadiadwala was planning to take Housefull 5 on the floors by December 2023. However, when casting was taking longer than expected, the plan was pushed back to 2024. Just last week, Sajid and Akshay approached Abhishek and John to sign for the film.
John-Abhishek said no to the film
However, a big update has also been shared in the media report on Abhishek and John joining this installment. According to reports, both Abhishek and John had to say no due to date issues. As per the report, ‘Although they were very keen to come on board for Housefull 5, they were not able to allocate a large number of dates for Housefull 5.’ However, Sajid and Akshay are still trying to convince both the stars.
Shooting of ‘Housefull 5’ will start next year
The shooting of ‘Housefull 5’ will begin in early 2024 and the selection of actors is underway. For this comedy series directed by Tarun Mansukhani, many new stars can be seen in the film except Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. ‘Housefull 4’ was released in the year 2019 and was a huge hit at the box office. The film had earned more than Rs 200 crore. At the same time, ‘Housefull 5’ will be a treat for the fans of the franchise, as they will get a chance to see their favorite actors in an entertaining adventure. The film will also mark the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, who were last seen together in ‘Housefull 4’.
